Terms and Conditions: My Koppie Lucky Draw Competition

1. Competition Period

The My Koppie Lucky Draw Competition ("the Competition") runs from 1 July 2025 to 11 September 2025 (both dates inclusive). Entries received outside this period will not be considered.

2. Lucky Draw Date and Location

  • The lucky draw will take place on 12 September 2025 at Salajees, Amanzimtoti.
  • The draw will be conducted in a fair and transparent manner and will be posted on My Koppie’s official social media pages.

3. Eligibility

  • The Competition is open to everyone, except employees, directors, or immediate family members of My Koppie, Salajees, or any associated companies, agencies, or suppliers involved in the Competition.
  • Sorry, influencers, this isn’t a sneaky way to score free merch for your feed—buy a Koppie and join the fun like everyone else!

4. How to Enter

To enter the Competition, participants must:

  • Purchase a Koppie: Buy any Koppie from the My Koppie online store (www.mykoppie.co.za) or in-store at Salajees, Amanzimtoti, during the Competition period. Each Koppie purchased constitutes one (1) entry into the lucky draw.
    • For in-store purchases, a copy of the purchase receipt must be filled out with the participant’s name, surname, cell number, and email. This receipt serves as acknowledgment of the purchase and confirmation of entry into the draw.
    • Entrants will receive entry confirmation via WhatsApp using the provided cell number.
  • Social Media Bonus Entry: Post a photo of your purchased Koppie/s on a My Koppie official social media page and tag My Koppie. Your post will grant one (1) additional entry into the lucky draw. The post must be publicly visible and comply with the social media platform’s guidelines. Only one (1) social media entry is permitted per participant.
  • Multiple entries are permitted through additional Koppie purchases, but only one social media bonus entry is allowed per participant.
  • Entries are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.
  • Client information provided on receipts will be stored securely and will not be used in any unethical manner, in compliance with South African data protection laws.

5. Prize

  • The prize is a personalised collapsible 3mm Braai (dimensions: L 400mm x W 273mm x H 251mm), customised with the winner’s name.
  • The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other item.
  • My Koppie will cover the cost of couriering the prize to the winner’s specified address within South Africa. Delivery may take up to 14 working days after winner verification.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

  • One (1) winner will be randomly selected during the lucky draw on 12 September 2025.
  • The winner will be notified via phone or email within 2 working days of the draw, using the contact details provided at the time of purchase or via social media direct message (for bonus entries).
  • If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 5 working days of notification, or is found to be ineligible, My Koppie reserves the right to select an alternate winner from the remaining valid entries.
  • The winner’s name may be announced on My Koppie’s social media pages, subject to their consent.

7. General Conditions

  • My Koppie reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants and disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process, submits fraudulent entries, or violates these Terms and Conditions.
  • Proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or order confirmation) may be required to validate entries.
  • My Koppie is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries due to technical or other issues beyond its control.
  • The Competition may be cancelled, modified, or suspended at My Koppie’s discretion due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., technical issues, legal restrictions). Participants will be notified via My Koppie’s website or social media pages if such changes occur.
  • By entering, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information (e.g., name, contact details) for the purposes of administering the Competition and delivering the prize, in accordance with South African data protection laws.

8. Liability

  • My Koppie, Salajees, and their respective affiliates are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered by participants as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
  • The prize is provided “as is,” and no additional warranties are offered beyond those provided by the manufacturer.

9. Governing Law

The Competition and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
